How to Play Battleship
Each player secretly places their fleet of 5 ships on their 10×10 grid: one Carrier (5 squares), one Battleship (4 squares), one Cruiser or Destroyer (3 squares), one Submarine (3 squares), and one Patrol Boat (2 squares). Ships are placed horizontally or vertically. Players alternate calling a grid coordinate (e.g., B-7). The opponent announces Hit or Miss. When all squares of a ship have been hit, it is sunk. The first player to sink all five of the opponent’s ships wins.
