How to Play Pinochle
Four players form two partnerships. After bidding, the highest bidder names trump. Both partnerships reveal their melds. The bid-winning partnership must score at least as many points as their bid between melds and trick-taking combined. Card values: Aces score 11, 10s score 10, Kings score 4, Queens score 3, Jacks score 2, 9s score 0. The final trick is worth 10 points and 250 total points are available each hand. Teams that meet their bid score their points; those that fall short have the bid deducted.
