How to Start a Game on Discord

Step 1: Add the Rare Pike Bot

A server admin needs to add the Rare Pike bot to your Discord server. This takes about 30 seconds:

  1. Go to the Rare Pike Bot page
  2. Click “Add to Discord”
  3. Select your server from the dropdown
  4. Authorize the bot

You only need to do this once per server. After that, any member can launch games.

Step 2: Join a Voice Channel

Games run inside voice channels. You don’t need your mic on — just join any voice channel in your server.

Step 3: Launch a Game

  1. Click the Activities icon (the rocket ship 🚀) in the voice channel toolbar
  2. Browse the available games or search by name
  3. Click the game you want to play
  4. The game opens as an Activity inside Discord

Step 4: Play

Everyone in the voice channel can join the game. No accounts to create, no links to share, no setup. Just play.
